Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Great atmosphere, friendly bartender, and great craft beers. After over a month, I finally got my merchandise I ordered off their website. Very cool t-shirts!
We got a plate of 9 samplers. I love the cream ale and the blackberry & blueberry cream ale 🍺 if they have bottles for sale, I will get 2 bottles of each.
Tucked away in an industrial maze just off the 76 in northwest Oceanside, you will find a small square sign above a door. The unassuming journey and entrance leads you to Oceanside Brewing Co. (OBC). It is a sizable brewery, complete with numerous tables, an outdoor patio, and most importantly, 22 different taps of local indie beer. Captain your own flight and choose five tasters, and then have the beers served to you in a variety of vessels, from war planes to battle ships. Their offerings include some of the more trendy beers such as the Desert Storm (New England style IPA) and multiple barrel aged beers. They also have some cool experimental beers, such as the Spongebob Beer Pants (6.9% pineapple pale ale, which made me crave summer) and the Rosemary’s Baby (4.8% rosemary cream ale, which made me crave lasagna?). Talk about a rollercoaster for the taste buds. These were among many traditional styles including Belgians, Scottish Wee Heavy, and many German varieties.
I was in town visiting from Chicago, IL and decided to check this local brewery out on a late Thursday afternoon. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Joey. He’s personable, funny, energetic, and was in a great mood. A bartender’s personality can really make or break how much fun it is to be at a bar, especially if you’re just there to chill. So glad Joey’s personality and stellar customer service made this a lively atmosphere. He gave me a brief tour and went over some of the craft beers available. I tried 5 different beers and they were excellent! My favorite were the honey beers. They surely bring a unique craft brew experience. They offer life music and quality food at certain times. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return when I am back in town.
Tried four or five beers on tap, all excellent — which I wouldn’t expect from a brewery 6 years young. Nice summer sours too and an IPA that was somewhere in between — citrus overtones and not overwhelmingly sweet or bitter. Just right. Totally recommend. Chill vibes.
