Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
This past Sunday, we wanted to try a new place. The door wench here has no sense of humor and a miserable disposition. She made it very clear that dogs are not appreciated at this establishment. SO, We went to Uptown Tavern instead and had a fun time where Winston was welcomed by both staff and customers. The food, atmosphere and clientele were exceptional at Uptown. If you have a pooch, suggest Uptown instead!!
The pizza is good with nice crispy crusts, the beer list is great, and the service is fantastic! Ask for Matt if you stop by, he's one of the best in the neighborhood. He always has great recommendations on what to order and he's a blast to talk to.
I absolutely love this place. Their pizzas a made from scratch and delicious. And their wings are baked. I like mine naked with the sauce on the side. And their beer is refreshing!!!! Staff are amazing!!! And it’s dog friendly!!! I recommend!!!
