Came for the first time just to learn that they will be closing in 2 weeks. What a bummer! Food is actually decent, especially their wings with special rep. I do really like the rope, and have a side of atomic sauce on the side. We also ordered the breakwater pizza and chicken barbecue pizza. Both were very tasty. A good selection of beer on tap. Down to earth and chill vibe. I will be missing this place.
We just stopped in for a beer. We tried to check it out after a long, hot hike previously, but it was closed. The building looks enormous from the outside, so we were surprised to see it was mostly a long bar area inside and an outdoor seating area. It must have a large portion dedicated to brewing equipment and storage. The cold beer was excellent on a hot day.
Came here a few weeks ago because I’ve been by it so many times. Inside feels less like a brewing Co or a bar and WAY more like a dive bar to be honest. Rags were strewn about. I ordered a beer, a taster of the raspberry mead and a piece of pizza. The beer was their signature beach honey which was nice. The Raspberry mead was a home run. The pizza was one of the worst pieces of pizza I’ve ever had. Middle school lunch cheese and was pretty much uncooked. Straight up doughy. If you want the dive bar feel and some decent brews, go for it. Seems like a decent place to watch the game
It was Saturday night and not too full, it was very lucky. We ordered Margherita pizza and beers on tap. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Beer you can order in tasting doses as well, great idea fir beer tasting tour spot. I liked the skater art on the walls
The beer is the obvious attraction and it lives up to its gold medals (Rye Dawn). Wings (Mustard) and pizza are good too. Good service and nice atmosphere. They don’t sell growlers but you can get your own 32 oz can filled fresh to order. I might have to leave town with one or two of those.
